About the author
Robert Moorhouse - a farmer all his life - has spent more than 30 years researching and investigating the history of tractors. As a boy he became enthralled by the giant machines that took over his father's farm in the 1950s and, having stumbled on an old collection of tractor pictures and ephemera, he began collecting anything that he could on these wonderful machines. Since then, his enthusiasm and dedication to what is chiefly a hobby but also partly an occupation, has grown from strength to strength. Now in semi-retirement, Robert farms a smallholding, in Leicestershire, England.
